They think they can silence us! They are wrong! This Time We Win in 53
July 6, 2015
My republican opponent just went on Bill Mick Live on June 26, 2015 and was given absolute free reign to perpetuate the stereotypes about the tax and spend liberals while casting himself as an educational reformer. Yes, your man spent most of his professional life as a casino operator, and now he is here to save our education system from Common Core ( a creature of the REPUBLICAN Testing Industrial Complex! Do you love it?) This went on for the hour between 8 and 9, with adverts of course.
So I emailed Bill and asked for equal time. No, he only interviews qualified candidates during election season. "What gives?" I asked. Are conservatives so afraid their systems will crumble if they hear the contrary views from opponents, they'd rather not entertain them?
"I won't be bullied into an interview," he said.
Get it, democrats? If you are assertive, if you dare to give a damn, you are a bully.
Let me tell you about bullying: every day people in certain industries in Brevard have to worry about losing their jobs through systematic separation if they announce they are democrats, if they admit they are atheists or agnostic, if they support equality of marriage, if they think school privitization, and prison privitization are dangerous corporate schemes that can destroy this country.
We have to remain silent while being berated or offer only lame arguments and deflections.
There is a difference between being a bully and coaxing someone out to a real debate; especially in THIS county. The latter is called political courage.
